City police report two people, one from North Bay and another from Garson, are facing additional charges, involving jewellery that was seized by police during a drug investigation this week.

Police say the jewellery is from a break-in to a business last Sunday Downtown.

Pearls was broken into for the third time in seven months.

North Bay Police say possession of property obtained by crime counts have been filed against the two people.

“This is a great example of the consistent and dedicated work by our officers. Their efforts have resulted in these arrests,” says Police Chief Scott Tod. “People need to be vigilant in securing their homes or businesses, taking interest in the safety of their neighbourhoods and working with police not just when crimes occur, but in prevention programs.”
