Thousands of people took in the events final day of activities yesterday.

Officials say they set out to host the greatest plowing match in history and believe they’ve done it.

Over two years of planning went into the local celebration of agriculture and rural living with more than 1,200 volunteers making it happen.

IPM 2019 wrapped up with the passing of the flags to representatives of IPM 2020, which will be held in Lindsay, Kawartha Lakes from Oct. 14 to 17, 2020.
