The West Nipissing Detachment of the OPP says there was a home invasion on Nipissing Street in Sturgeon Falls on Wednesday before 2 am.

Police say suspects forced their way into a motorhome, confronted the occupants and began to assault a person and then fled.

Four people were inside the home and the lone victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The other three were not injured.

Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no concern for public safety at this time.
