The provincial government wants to hear from you about government services in the north when it comes to their programs and services that impact children, youth and families.

Gisele Hebert is the Executive Director of the Children’s Aid Society of Nipissing-Parry Sound.

She says the government wants to modernize the child welfare system across Ontario including the north.

“They want to ensure that people who live in Northern Ontario are getting the services when and where they need them,” she says.

Hebert says the idea is to improve the system for everyone involved.

“What has it been like for people to navigate the system in time of need of support. What has worked well and what could be done differently to ensure needs are being met,” she says.

They’re accepting surveys until October 14th.
