Quite the honour for Vision Volleyball Club Head Coach Danny Gosselin.

He’s been named to the coaching staff of the boy’s volleyball program for the 2021 Canada Games in Niagara Falls, along with coaches from Ottawa and Niagara Falls.

Gosselin, a long-time volleyball coach in North Bay says he’s honoured to be able to work with this team and represent his club and Province.

He has been involved at all levels of coaching within the OVA, and has been involved with four National Championship teams.

“All of us who represent the Vision brand in both our volleyball and weightlifting programs are extremely proud of Danny for this fantastic accomplishment,” says Vision Volleyball Club President, David Culin. “Even though we are a small Club in a small market, it is proven that given hard work, and countless hours of commitment and dedication to our sport, great things can be achieved. Congratulations Danny! You make us all proud.”

The Canada Summer Games take place August 6-21, 2021 in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

Preparation requires a three-year commitment of the coaching staff.

They will dedicate most of their time over this winter assessing players for invites to attend selection camps in the spring.

Once the team is picked, they will compete in several events during their training process, including US Nationals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and the Canada Cup, happening this summer in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
