The Powassan Voodoos beat Kirkland Lake 4-1 last night at the Sportsplex, to earn their 13th straight victory.

Ty Nicholson scored twice in the win.

Riley Pitt and Tomas Yachmenev also found the back of the net.

Yachmenev, meantime, is one of the three NOJHL stars of the week.

He scored three goals and an assist in three games last week.

The Voodoos are also up one spot in the CJHL Top 20 national rankings.

Powassan is fourth in Canada this week.
