In OUA men’s hockey, the Nipissing Lakers are home to York tonight.

Game time at Memorial Gardens is 7 o’clock.

Last week, head coach Mike McParland told BayToday the team is dealing with an unprecedented number of injuries.

The list includes four separated shoulders, a broken or strained wrist, a concussion, mono, a broken foot and two severe groin strains.

“To see ten injuries at one time, I’ve never experienced that.  With the exception of two of them, eight injuries are severe injuries,” he says.

The Lakers are 4-4-0-2 on the season.
