Hydro crews were busy last night with outages in the city and several other communities.

North Bay Hydro tweeted just after 10 pm about a widespread outage caused by a Hydro One feeder line.

Most neighbourhoods had power again by 10:20 pm, with the Highway 11 North area restored in stages overnight.

Meantime, downed trees resulted in about 570 customers being impacted by another outage in the Hwy 63, Tower Drive, Four Mile Lake and Widdifield Stn Road area overnight.

Hydro One, meantime, says crews are working on outages in several communities, from Powassan to Redbridge to Mattawa.

Restoration times vary. Check out the outage map HERE.

School transportation officials confirm Phelps Public School in Redbridge and Mariale in Thorne are closed because of power outages.
