The Peterborough Petes (17-6-1-1 36 points) are now 8-1-0-0 when they lead after the first, this off a 6-1 win over North Bay on Thursday evening at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. They utilized a four goal first period to put the Battalion into a hole they wouldn’t be able to climb out of.

The lone Battalion goal came with under 20 seconds to play in the game with the team already down 6-0.

The Battalion will look to improve upon their 1-13-0-0 record on the road in their first visit to the Leon’s Centre this season with a game against the Kingston Frontenacs on Friday night.
