The North Bay Battalion gave up four goals in the first period en route to a 6-1 loss in Peterborough Thursday night.

Assistant Coach Scott Wray says the Troops got off to a slow start and it showed on the score board.

“A team like Peterborough, an older team, a deep team like them you have to start on time, you have to be ready to go,” he says.

Nick Grima (pictured) scored the lone goal for North Bay.

Wray says they now need to focus on tonight’s game in Kingston.

“We scored in the last 10-15 seconds there (Peterborough), go into Kingston and play a hard road game.  We need to play our game, we need to play 60 minutes,” he says.

Catch tonight’s game on Country 600 CKAT at 6:50 pm.
