The Powassan Voodoos have added a familiar name to their line-up.

They acquired former Voodoos defenceman Eric Allair (pictured above) from Caledonia of the GOJHL.

The 20-year-old has two goals and nine assists in 27 games this season.

He was also the GOJHL’s defenceman of the month in October.

On the ice this weekend, Powassan beat Elliot Lake 7-0 on Friday night.

Meantime, Voodoos goalie Owen Say won a silver medal at the World Junior A Challenge.

Russia scored a 2-1 double overtime win over Team Canada East in the final Sunday night.

Say was was the team’s back-up goalie for the tournament, which was played in Dawson Creek, BC.
