Renewed contract talks between the Elementary Teachers Federation and the province will enter a third day today.

Both sides were tight lipped about the discussions that were held yesterday.

Today’s the deadline before the elementary teachers plan to ramp up strike action next week.

If that happens, the Near North Board will be impacted twice next week, on Wednesday, then again on Thursday when a province-wide strike is planned.

Meantime, Ontario’s English Catholic teachers announced they would return to the bargaining table after talks broke off earlier this month.
