A fourth straight loss for the North Bay Battalion.

Kingston defeated the Troops 6-3 at Memorial Gardens yesterday afternoon.

Head Coach Ryan Oulahen was disappointed in the result.

“We’re two teams trying to climb up into the playoff race, and they beat us in every area of the game,” he says.

Of note, Kingston killed off a Troop’s 5-3 powerplay in the second period.

“This was probably the turning point. We made some unbelievable plays and had some really good chances, and their goalie made a couple of good saves,” Oulahen says.

Luke Moncada, David Campbell and Nick Grima (pictured) scored in the loss for North Bay.

It was Campbell’s first OHL goal.

The Battalion are back in action Thursday in Peterborough.
