The province’s Free Family Fishing weekend is back.

Saturday through Monday Canadian residents of all ages can enjoy fishing without having to buy a licence or carry an Outdoors Card.

Fishing limits and rules still apply.

That’s not the only free activity on the go for this Family Day weekend.

A free family film “Dora and the Lost City of Gold’ is being shown at 2 pm Sunday at The Capitol Centre.

Activities are also lined up for Monday at the North Bay YMCA.

There’s a couple fitness swims and opens swims, family activities and gymnastics, swim sports, a bouncy castle and more.

Admission is free with a donation to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

Photo ID is required.

The Y is open 8 am to 4 pm on Family Day.

Meantime, the North Bay Museum will be open from 1-4 pm on Monday.

Admission is free on Family Day, with donations collected for the North Bay Warming Centre.

There will be activities connected to the museum’s Science North THINK Hub like bridge and tower building, making musical instruments, and more.

Visitors can also try shipwreck exhibit themed activities and complete the museum’s scavenger hunt.
