The North Bay Battalion go for their 3rd straight win tonight.

The Troops are coming off victories over Barrie and Mississauga last weekend and host Ottawa tonight.

The 67’s have just 9 regulation losses in 52 games and are the number one ranked team in the CHL.

Battalion Coach Ryan Oulahen says there will be some early signs as to how well the Troops are handling the highly ranked opponent.

“Everyone’s first shift will be an early tell. We don’t want to come out and watch them. We want to dictate the play. It’s going to be tough. They’re the best team in Canada for a reason,” he says.

The teams met recently in Ottawa and the 67’s won 9-1.

Oulahen says there was a marked improvement in the play of the team last week, as they picked up five points in three games.

“There were so many good examples of winning battles. The play was much better. It wasn’t so much the results but how we were playing,” Oulahen says.

Broadcast time tonight on Country 600 CKAT is 6:50 pm.
