Indigenous art to be showcased Tuesday

Students at Chippewa Secondary School are showcasing a display of local Indigenous art Tuesday night.

The event is a fundraiser for the Gord Downie-Chanie Wenjack Fund, which promotes reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.

There will be everything from sculpture to short films at the event.

The artists will be there, too

Admission is by donation with a silent auction also being held.

The event goes from 7-9 pm Tuesday at Chippewa.
