The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association says it is planning for a one day province wide strike next Thursday.

In a release, the association says it suspended its planned rotating strikes as a sign of good faith when the mediator called the bargaining parties back to the table.

The OECTA says it was also a demonstration of OECTA’s commitment to resolve these difficult negotiations.

The release says OECTA members began administrative job action on January 13 and this action will remain in effect until and after March 5.
