Health Unit updates COVID-19 in the district

As of Friday morning, The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit says there have been no confirmed cases here of COVID-19.

But they say there will be positive cases at some point.

Officials say call your health care provider or the Health Unit if you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19.

They say there is no specific treatment for COVID-19 and, at this time, there is no vaccine.

However, a vaccine is being developed.

The health unit says If you have severe symptoms and need immediate medical attention call 911 and mention your travel history and symptoms.
