The latest stats on the Health Unit’s website show there are now six confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the North Bay Parry Sound District.

The latest case involves a man in his 30’s and marks the first case that was acquired in the community.

All of the others are travel-related.

Late Sunday morning details emerged on the fifth case, a man in his 60’s who traveled to Florida.

The fourth case involves a woman in her 60’s who traveled to Florida.

On Saturday, the Health Unit announced two confirmed cases relate to a man and woman in their 70’s who live in the district and were repatriated from a cruise ship.

The first case was announced on Thursday and involved a woman in her 60’s who traveled to Egypt.

All six people are in self-isolation.
