It’s looking like local Air Canada flights won’t resume before at least June.

This after Air Canada extended the suspension of 160 routes, including North Bay to Toronto, to the end of May.

Back in March, the service was put on hold until the end of April because of COVID-19, but that’s been extended another month.

Air Canada is also suspending most international flights until June, while Air Transat and Sunwing Airlines Ltd. are cancelling all trips until May 31 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Air Canada says it is still operating repatriation flights for Canadians stuck abroad on three continents in collaboration with the Canadian government.
