Dog bite results in charge for owner

A 34 year old dog owner has been charged with failing to prevent a dog from biting or attacking someone.

Police say the charge relates to an incident last month in which someone was walking on Railway Street in Sturgeon Falls when a dog left a residence and attacked a pedestrian.

OPP says the pedestrian was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
