BayToday says there could be construction this summer on a major hotel coming to the community.

The $15 million Four Points by Sheraton hotel featuring 120 rooms and employing 50 people is owned by the same company that owns the Petro Pass gas station, BVD Petroleum.

The location of the hotel would be right behind the the Tim Hortons and Beef n’ Brand restaurant in the Pinewood Park Drive area.

Officials say there’s also a Burger King going up on the property.
