Robbery update

An update on this weeks armed robbery at a Trout Lake Road apartment. City police say they’ve located and interviewed Melissa Karran and the search for the suspect continues.

She was a person of interest in the case.

Earlier, police said a black handgun was pointed at a victim on Wednesday night with several bank cards and prescription medication stolen.

The suspect is described as female, slightly over 5′ tall with a slim build.

She had blonde hair that was in a bun at the time and was wearing black glasses, a medical mask, teal coloured jacket, black gloves and was carrying a pink backpack.

She was seen heading towards Connaught Avenue.
