A 44 year old city woman has been charged with break and enter with intent, assault with a weapon, assault and uttering threats.

Police say around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, someone entered a residence on Massey Drive but was stopped by a neighbour who called police.

The person left the scene only to return around 9:30 last night.

Once inside, the suspect confronted the occupant and accused her of stealing some property.

Police say the occupant was assaulted and had a chair thrown at her.

Two neighbours attempted to intervene outside the residence and one of them was spat on.

Police say another person received a threat.

No medical treatment was required by the victims.

North Bay Police are looking into a break-in at the Heritage Railway and Carousel Caboose Store at the Waterfront.

It’s believed to have occurred between last Thursday and this Tuesday.

Entry was gained through a window and electronic equipment was taken.

A 42 year old city man has been charged with trespass by night, committing an indecent act and voyeurism.

Police say they received a report of a male in the back yard of a Foran Street residence around midnight on Monday.
Police say a man was looking into the window of the home.
