Even though the downward trend in job postings locally continued in April because of COVID-19, officials with the Labour Market Group are hoping to see a bounce back in May.

This after the easing of some pandemic-related measures in May.

The latest report shows 169 job postings in Nipissing in April.

That’s down over 41 percent from March.

It’s also about 54 percent of the five year average for April.
