COVID-19 is impacting another summer staple at the waterfront.

Officials with the Heritage Train and Carousel say the waterfront attractions won’t be open this year.

They say the decision is difficult, but felt it was necessary for the safety and protection of riders and volunteers — and are already looking forward to 2021.

Last week the Chief Commanda II announced they won’t be cruising Lake Nipissing this summer.
