Council meets virtually tonight and one of several reports coming forward involves the Jack Garland Airport and COVID-19.

This after Air Canada announced earlier this month they’re indefinitely suspending service between North Bay and Toronto.

The staff recommendation is to lobby for government funding and identify the projected financial requirements of $1.5 million for the continued operation of the airport in 2021, through the budget process.

Tonight’s meeting gets underway at 6:30 pm on the city’s YouTube channel.
