North Bay OPP have charged a 42 year old Commanda resident with harassment, uttering threats, public mischief, obstructing police and driving while suspended.

This after several incidents last month.

OPP say at 1 am on July 14th a driver left a RIDE stop on the bypass while officers were conducting an investigation.

About a half hour later the same person called in what turned to be a fake two-vehicle collision on Hwy 11 north.

Police responded and didn’t find a crash.

Then on July 23rd OPP began investigating a domestic incident involving the same person, who fled into the bush when police went to make an arrest.

He was located two hours later.
