Over $61,000 worth of drugs are off the street after a search Thursday of a Martin Street residence in North Bay.

Drugs seized by the North Bay Police Street Crime Unit and OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau included 455 grams of suspected cocaine and over 600 methamphetamine pills, along with psilocybin, percocet tablets and suspected hash.

Over $3,700 in cash and a prohibited knife were also seized.

A 46 year old city man is facing several drug-related charges.

Acting Inspector McFarlane of the Criminal Investigation Section of North Bay Police states; “The distribution of illegal drugs is a borderless crime. It attests to the need for police agencies to continue to work together investigating and sharing information to remove these drugs from our communities.”
