The TP North Bay campaign has reached the halfway mark and officials say 7,000 rolls have been donated so far.
The goal is 20,000 for the North Bay Food Bank.
“We need your help more this year than ever,” says Vice Chair Angela Johnston. “We are normally outside stores to collect toilet paper for the food bank but with COVID-19 we have to keep everyone safe, but the need is still real. So when you are out getting your weekly or monthly groceries, please drop off a package or two in the Food Bins Provided by the Food Bank in your local grocery store. We know that North Bay has always come to the aid of many causes to help each other and I am sure that in the next 31 days we can get there together.”
Ways to donate include:
1. When you are shopping you can drop a few rolls into any Food Bank bin at your Local Grocery store, During Sept & Oct
2. You can bring it directly to the North Bay Food Bank tell them it’s for TP North Bay
3. You can drop off TP donations at Allison the Bookman, Fire Station One Princess Street, The Davedi Club
4. You can send e-transfers to tpnorthbay1@gmail.com
5. You can make monetary donations online at – northbayfoodbank.ca/donate and PLEASE ADD “TP North Bay” in the comment section when donating so we can add your donation to the total.
6. Come up with your own corporate challenge to collect TP and let us know so we can come out and pick up and take photos and give your business the recognition for helping out.
“North Bay has always helped us, so we’re hoping they will do it again,” said Ellen Faulkner, Chair of TP North Bay.
