Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF) allocations have been announced and the City of North Bay is receiving a bit less money for 2021.

$10,094,200 is earmarked for the city.

That’s $113,600 less than the OMPF grant received for this year.

The province says the 2021 allocation works out to $409 per household.

OMPF is the province’s main general assistance grant for municipalities.

Around the northeast:
Greater Sudbury is receiving $21,638,700 which is about $34,000 less than funding for this year.
Timmins is receiving $10,543,700 which is over $182,000 more than funding received for 2020.
Sault Ste Marie is receiving $16,395,300 which is almost $435,000 more than funding for this year.
