Two North Bay males have been charged in connection with a robbery involving a firearm.

Police say on Saturday night, two people attended a residence in the Birch Haven area and one of them pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded details of her debit card that he was in possession of and she complied.

Police say on Sunday an arrest was made at a Madelina Street residence and later in the day a 2nd suspect was picked up.

Police say they seized several firearms including the one believed to have been involved in the incident.

The charges include robbery with a firearm, using a firearm in the commission of an offence, pointing a firearm, theft and and trafficking in a controlled substance.

Police say in order to protect the identity of the victim, the North Bay Police Service will not be releasing the names of the accused.
