Stats from the North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit say there are three more COVID-19 cases today.

The number of active cases has been updated to seven and all are self isolating at home.

Overall, there has been 61 cases with 53 resolved and there’s been one death.

The number of resolved cases is up two from yesterday.

A rental group has advised the North Bay YMCA that one of their participants has tested positive for COVID-19.
Y officials released a statement to members saying they’re working with the Health Unit and anyone at risk of exposure have been contacted by Public Health and are following their direction.
They also say the rental group was in the Chippewa Street facility after hours and there was no contact with their general membership.
The group continued to practice all safety measures including:
-Frequent hand washing
-Disinfected all equipment in use
-Wearing of masks while in the facility and while playing
-Sign in and screening of all participants
The YMCA remains open.
