The OPP has released the half way results of its month long gun amnesty program.

As of Monday,  267 items were recovered through appointments with the OPP.

Police say the items include restricted, prohibited, replica and vintage weapons.

They represent 5,200 pieces of ammunition and many hollow point bullets.

The campaign will be in effect for another two weeks.

No amnesty is being offered if one of the weapons has been used in the commission of a crime.

The weapons must be unwanted or illegally owned firearms, weapons, accessories or ammunition.
