2,300 students from across the province, including locally, are in Toronto today for the 2018 Skills Ontario Competition.

Events at the three day event include architectural technology and design, culinary arts, graphic design, aircraft maintenance and more.

Students from Almaguin, Widdifield and Canadore are taking part.

Plenty of employers will be there looking for prospective young talent in sectors that are coping with chronic labour shortages.
