The North Bay Titans won the small team high point award at the 2018 Fred Rams Championship swim meet in Timmins on the weekend.

Ethan Yates, 10, led the way with four first place finishes.

He won the individual high point award in the boys nine and 10 age category.

Four more Titans had first place finishes, including Ashlyn Auger, Indiana Coffin, Marlee Parker and Ryan Spencer, who won three of his events.

Top three finishes were also achieved by Robby Baas, Niganii Dokis, Joshua Gough and Allen Huang.

Nineteen Titans competed at the event, including Alexis Anderson, Brooklynn Bayliss, Ava Bertrand, Sophie Bertrand, Emma Cook, Dekota Jones, Izabelle Lizotte, Kailey Reed, Carleigh Roy and Riley Roy.

Personal best times were achieved by the majority of the team.

Titans coaches say all 19 swimmers raced their hardest and helped to bring home the small team high point championship.

The meet took place at the Archie Dillon Sportsplex Pool in Timmins on Saturday, May 12th and Sunday, May 13th.
