‘Opening Doors’.

That’s the theme for the 18th annual Carousel Evening being held tomorrow night (Wednesday) at St Joseph-Scollard Hall.

The keynote address “Beating the Odds” is being delivered by Leslie Andrew.

Workshops include:

– Building Resilience through Relationship
– Emotions Impact Learning
– Every Student Learns in His or Her Own Way
– Let’s Read: Ways to Help My Child Succeed in School
– Mathematical Mindsets
– Sleep Problems: How to Help Your Child Get to Sleep and Stay Asleep
– Supporting Your Child in French as a Second Language
– Tools for Life
– Using Technology as a Learning Strategy

The NPSC Special Education Advisory (SEAC) and Parent Involvement (PIC) Committee are hosting the event, with the support of a Ministry Parent Reaching Out Grant.

Registration is at 5 pm with the welcome and keynote at 5:45 pm.

Workshops begin at 7:30 pm.

There’s free childcare with RSVP upon registration.
