North Bay OPP say a vehicle stopped at a R.I.D.E. check early on Friday morning led to a charge of 3 counts of failing to comply with recognizance.

Initially, the charge for the 30 year old driver from North Bay was for being out after curfew.

Police say the motorist had been charged with domestic related offences and was out on bail and was under conditions not to communicate with the victim which police say was breached.

North Bay OPP investigating a stolen vehicle incident.

Police say the vehicle was a 2005 Ford 2-50 truck which was stolen last Wednesday or Thursday from Highway 654 in Nipissing Township.

Police say the vehicle which was locked and with no keys inside was seen in the Hamilton area on Thursday.

It’s described as a crew cab, 4×4, beige in colour with factory orange marker lights on the roof.

a 57 year old Wasaga Beach man is facing multiple charges after a weekend break and enter near Magnetawan.

Police say they discovered a male inside a residence who was living there temporarily and when they attempted to arrest him police were assaulted.

The charges include break and enter, resist peace officer and assault peace officer.
