The heat warning continues for at least one more day in the North Bay area.

Today’s high is 30 with the humidex around 38.

But, relief is on the way with a cold front moving through later this afternoon and tonight, with showers and thunderstorms possible.

Yesterday (Wednesday) was record-breaking, temperature-wise.

We reached a high of 31.9 degrees.

That surpasses the 1944 record by two and a half degrees.

Of note, the mini train and carousels will not be operating again today because of the heat and humidity.

The plan is to re-open tomorrow.
