Damages have been pegged at $150,000 from a house fire in North Bay yesterday. There were no injuries.

Platoon Chief William Purtell says they received multiple calls about smoke visible on Trout Lake Road.

He says the fire was actually on Water Street.
“There was so much smoke from the amount of materials in and around the home that the crews were led directly right to the fire and were able to initiate a defensive attack,” he says.

Water Street is parallel with Trout Lake Road, off of Bank Street with the home close to the bypass.
The investigation into the cause is underway.

4 residents have been displaced.
