22 Wing is being well represented in Great Britain right now.

There are 4 members from North Bay’s CFB out of 120 from across the country undertaking public duties in the UK.

The group is the first non-infantry contingent from Canada to undertake public duties in the United Kingdom for the Queen and the first time this has been done in the history of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

There will be duties by the local contingent at Buckingham Palace, St James Palace and the Tower of London.

The four members are Sergeant Michael Jaworski and Corporal Asitha Jayasundera of 21 Aerospace Control and Warning Squadron, Cpl. Phuong Hutchings of 22 Wing traffic and Cpl. Karey Barr of 51 Aerospace Control and Warning Squadron.
