This years North Bay Blooms top garden winner has been named.

It’s Debby and Jeff Armstrong.

Their garden on Tecumseh Drive was voted best by the North Bay Blooms Committee.

Chair of North Bay Blooms Maureen Ranger told BayToday their garden graded very well.

“It’s full of beautiful colour, there’s lots of variety, it’s well maintained and lots of people have admired it and submitted nominations. It’s very beautiful,” she says.
Debby says she does a fair bit of work dividing and re-arranging plants and ensuring there are no weeds.

She got the inspiration to garden from her mother who was a good gardener.

She says her husband has helped her lot in keeping things tidy.

Debby says she takes a lot of pride in her garden. She says it was a tough competition.

“In driving around the city we saw so many beautiful gardens that weren’t nominated. There’s lots of beautiful gardens in the city and this means people take pride in their homes,” she says.
