42 roadways and 4.5 Million Dollars.

That sums up the summer road resurfacing program in North Bay.

Councillor Tanya Vrebosch says that works out to 46 lane Kilometres of roads.

The list includes High Street from O’Brien to Chippewa Creek, O’Brien from Foster Street to Ramsey Street, John from Main to McIntyre, Four Mile Lake Road from Carmichael Drive to Stanleys Road and the intersection of Cassels and Chippewa.

She says it’s a good cross section of work.

Vrebosch says there’s no major project going on this summer but they are doing more roadway than they’ve done in the past.

The list also includes the intersection at Pinewood Park and Lakeshore Drive, Ski Club Road from O’Brien to Balsam Road, Commerce Crescent from Seymour Street to Wallace Road, Oak Street from Regina to John and Carmichael Drive from Airport Road to Ayr Street.

She says it’s important to keep up the infrastructure work.

Vrebosch says the more done each year the less it will cost in the long run.
