The Nipissing Lacrosse team is offering a free clinic and alumni game Saturday on the University’s new turf field.

The clinic runs from 4:30 to 5:30 pm and is open to all ages and skill sets.

Registration is not required and those taking part only need athletic attire and running shoes.

The Lakers men’s team will play against alumni at 6 pm.

(hospice)

$1,000 was donated to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice from the Nipissing Lakers Men’s Hockey Team golf day.

The donation was made through the main sponsors of the event Skaters North Source for Sports and Station Tap House and Steak co.

Coach Mike McParland says the golf day was very successful and it’s important to give something back to the community.
