A great family business story is taking shape in North Bay.

The official opening of J & D Power Sports was held today.

It’s owned by Jordan Loam and Dylan Guido.

Both are young business leaders.

What makes the story special is their parents are big investors in the business.

Jordan’s dad Chris says don’t let the ages of Jordan and Dylan fool you they both have plenty of business experience.

“The one partner Dylan has run two successful businesses before. So he does have that experience. Jordan has been successful as well. He’s been involved in marine service, he’s been a service manager and has worked on many yachts,” he says.

Chris says he knows what emotions you go through when running a business.

“There’s a sense of worry that I can see the stress he’s going through. But I’ve watched how calm he is about stuff. I’ve watched how he’s able to compartmentalize and prioritize,” Loam says.

The public can check out J & D Power Sports on Main Street West as early as tomorrow when it will be open to the public.
