NEW opp police

 

Two people on a motorcycle were taken to hospital by ambulance yesterday.

The motorbike they were on went into a ditch in East Ferris Township.

The injuries suffered were not life threatening.

The driver a 25 year old male and a 27 year old female passenger are both from North Bay.

Meantime, North Bay OPP are concerned about the amount of impaired driving in the community.

They say they have charged 5 motorists with impaired driving between last Tuesday and last Friday.

Three of the motorists are from the area- 2 from North Bay and one from Callander and the other two are from Gloucester and Windsor.
