City police are looking for a light coloured four door sedan, possibly a Toyota or a Honda after a hit and run collision just before 6 pm Sunday.

The driver is believed to have been a female.

The two vehicle crash happened at the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and Beattie Street.

One person in the vehicle that remained on the scene was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.

 

A 35 year old city man is facing domestic assault and break, enter and theft charges.

Police say a woman returned to her residence in the south end of the city on Friday and found a window broken and some property missing.

The investigation allegedly led to her boyfriend with it also being determined the victim had been assaulted the day before.

 

City police are investigating a residential break in the south end of North Bay before 2:30 am Saturday.

After a person entered the home through an unlocked door, a purse and TV were taken.

Police say someone inside woke up and was able to give a partial description of the fleeing suspect.

They’re described as shorter in stature with light coloured hair, wearing a light coloured shirt and dark pants.

The TV and purse, minus some cash, were recovered a short distance away.
