Hundreds of students at Chippewa joined students across Ontario in protesting sex-ed curriculum changes in Ontario.

The province-wide walkout was also in opposition to the cancellation of curriculum-writing sessions designed to fulfill findings of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

A rally for rights was also held outside MPP Vic Fedeli’s office.

Fedeli says the Ford government is embarking on the largest consultation in the provinces history and he encourages people to get involved and have their say.

Fedeli says there are ample opportunities as there are on line surveys and town halls.

He says this is all about hearing directly from the people.
