Mayoral candidate Gary Gardiner says the time is now for a new leader in North Bay.

In the latest in a series of campaign planks, Gardiner says the city needs a new direction and that’s why he decided to enter the race.

Gardiner says the new council elected will be an all star team of the 26 candidates and if given the opportunity he will lead the council so it can become the best it can be.

He says the city will become extraordinary.
