Business Week 2018 runs Tuesday through Thursday locally.
North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Peter Chirico says the focus is on celebrating local business.
“Right across the country it’s Business Week, we celebrate Canadian entrepreneurs and what they do for our economy. We’re really pleased to participate again this year,” he says.
There’s a host of activities line up, including the marquee event Thursday night, the Bell Evening of Excellence awards.
Chirico says they received a record number of nominations this year.
“These are businesses that not only operate in our city, but give back to our city and a lot of that is the criteria for the awards selection,” he says.
